Requirements

1. Being 21 or older.
2. ID
   
3. Having a valid and current driver ’s licence, from any country, we accept them all.
   
4. Having a credit or debit card (Visa, MC or Amex).

Additional Drivers

You may bring up to two additional drivers free of charge, whose names and signatures must be placed on the rental agreement.

Mileage and Gasoline

Unlimited Mileage is included in all of our rentals. The gas policy is the same level you receive it, the same level you bring back. Gas prices are the same in all Mexico, and there are only two kinds of gasoline, you can input the cheapest one. Cost per litter is about 7 pesos (about .70 cts. usd.) which would equal approximately 2.50 usd. per gallon.

Driving Restrictions

There  are no driving restrictions within Mexico’s territorial bouderies.

We furnish the necessary documentation for you to drive our vehicle in Belize at no cost to you.

However, if you wish to enter or exit Guatemala, the Guatemalan government requires an original notarized affidavit, that cost 150 USD and needs 48 hours to process. Some clients pay for    it,  the majority  do not, the decision is always up to the client.   Once it is certain which vehicle you have received, we procure the nomenclature, registry and license plate numbers to initiate the processing. If your  arrival date is on a  Saturday or Sunday, the processing will begin on  Monday and the document will be available on Wednesday, for you to pick up at the office where you picked up the vehicle.

Hours of Operation & Airport Fees

Pick up and dropoff service is available free of charge at Cancun International Airport for your arrival, most other companies will charge you for airport fees which is usually 10% on top of your rate, we don’t. And we offer this service 24 hrs, so no matter what time your arrival or your departure time is, we can be there to go pick you up and take care of the rental or for your car return.

Airport Shuttle

We have a shuttle to car service. Our airport office is located just 5 minutes from the airport. We meet you at the airport, and then we take you to our office to perform the rental agreement and paper work.

Not arriving by air?

If you require to be picked up somewhere different from the airport, just mention where you would like us to meet you in the comments section of the reservation form, and we will meet you at the time and place of your choice.

Pick up or dropoff in another city.

If you choose to return your rented vehicle in another city then please ask us for dropoff fees. Most common are vehicle returns between Cancun and Playa del Carmen or Tulum, if this is your case, then a 20 usd. dropoff fee will be applied. All other cities or even at Belize is possible, but please ask for the current dropoff fees.

Collision or Theft

Our rates already include CDW (also known as LDW), which is an insurance for our vehicle which covers minor and major damages or theft. Our insurance gives you more benefits because of the fact that the deductible fee is 0% in case of an accident or theft. This insurance is an enhanced CDW known as EPC (Extended Coverage Protection). No other company offers this kind of comprehensive insurance upfront included in the rate. The coverage only applies within mexican territory.

Medical Expenses (PAI)

PAI covers any medical expenses in which the passengers of the rented vehicle may incur in case of an accident, covering up to 30,000 usd. per accident. This insurance is already included in your rate. The coverage only applies within mexican territory.

Liability Insurance (PLI)

Primary Liability covers any damage you may cause with the rented vehicle to other people or other people´s property, it also provides professional legal assistance in case you get in trouble while in our country with our car. This insurance is already included in your rate. The coverage only applies within mexican territory.

When arriving to our office after your pick-up at the airport or any other specified place, we will perform the rental agreement and necessary paper work. You will be required a credit card and your driver´s licence.

You may perform your payment with any major credit or debit card, as long as it is a Visa, MasterCard or American Express, or you could also pay in cash. When paying with cash, we still need a credit card on which we will put a hold of 600 usd. (on hold, not charged) as a guarantee.

Deposit Rentals

The following cash deposits are required for the different types of vehicles:

From Mini Economy to Compact vehicles: 600 usd.
Mid-Size vehicles: 700 usd.
Full Size and Jeep Wranglers: 800 usd.
Vans and Minivans: 1,000. usd.

Refund Policy

Before picking up the vehicle:

There is no charge for refunds, since we never charge before the customer actually picks up the car. Therefore there is no cost for cancelled reservations.

After picking up the vehicle:

If for any reason the customer returns the vehicle before the stated date of return in the rental agreement, a reimbursement for the rental fee will proceed, however, the cost of the insurances and taxes is not refundable.
